Clifton Court Hall at the University of Cincinnati, designed by LMN Architects with KZF Design as Architect of Record and MKSK as Landscape Architect, unites the school's social science programs into a large multidisciplinary facility. Located on a prominent, sloping site, the building features flexible classrooms, collaborative spaces, and research labs. The design is a connecting hub for pedestrian pathways and provides a visual endcap at the north of Clifton Yard. Responding to the unique campus context, the building's material selection expands on the visual language of the historic central campus. Challenges included capturing the building's function and circulation during the summer session with limited student presence, as well as managing interior lighting conditions.
