25 West Main in Madison, designed by Valerio Dewalt Train, is a renovated and modernized 1960s office building transformed into Class A office space. Located on the corner of Capitol Square, the building features an angular glass curtain wall that replaced the previous failing precast concrete facade. The renovation includes high-efficiency building systems, expanded floor plates, and a large landscaped roof terrace offering views of the State Capitol and surrounding lakes. Exterior photography of reflective glass curtain walls required careful attention to lighting conditions in a narrow time window.
