The 21c Museum Hotel St. Louis is an adaptive reuse project, transforming the historic Renaissance Revival-style YMCA building in downtown St. Louis into a unique hospitality destination. Designed by Perfido Weiskopf Wagstaff + Goettel, with interiors by Hufft and Bill Rooney Studio, 21c combines a boutique hotel with a contemporary art museum, Idol Wolf restaurant, Good Press café, and the Locust Street Athletic and Swim Club. The 1926 building, originally designed by LaBeaume & Klein, now features over 14,000 square feet of exhibition and event space, seamlessly integrated throughout. Time constraints presented a photographic challenge during the shoot, requiring efficient capture of the diverse spaces and functions.
